The Crisis Negotiation Team is comprised of two sergeants and six officers. The Crisis Negotiation Team functions in conjunction with the SWAT Team and Hazardous Devices Unit. The team members utilize specially designed equipment in conjunction with specialized training to assist those individuals who are in a crisis. The mission of the team is to facilitate a successful resolution to the critical incident.
