Alarm Coordinator
An alarm ordinance providing for fees, permits, and fines to encourage an improvement in the quality and reliability of alarm systems was passed by the City Council and put under the jurisdiction of the Police Department. Alarm permits are renewable every five years. The Alarm Coordinator is located in Room 132 at Police Headquarters and may be contacted by calling (812) 436-7937. The coordinator’s hours of operation: Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
