Organized Crime Section (OCS) Officers are located at various locations within the city.

OCS is located at a secure site off station and is commanded by a lieutenant. The section is also staffed by two sergeants, nineteen officers, and one civilian employee. A number of units are attached and associated with OCS. They are the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco & Firearms Task Force, Drug Enforcement Agency Task Force, Federal Bureau of Investigation Task Force, Intelligence/Vice Unit, Interdiction Unit and the Evansville-Vanderburgh County Drug Task Force (EVCDTF). The EVCDTF has two sergeants, one from the EPD and one from the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office, commanding the unit. The Intel and Interdiction Units both have one sergeant supervising them, and the officers assigned to the three federal task forces operate under the direction of the Federal Agents.
