Criminal Investigation Division


The Criminal Investigation Division (CID) is responsible for the investigation and collection of any evidence of felony crimes, juvenile crimes, narcotic violations and investigations of an unusual or sensitive nature. CID is comprised of three investigative Sections: Adult Investigations (AIU), Criminal and Juvenile Investigations (CJI) and the Organized Crime Section (OCS).

CID units are located at various locations within the city and provide investigative services 24 hours per day/365 days per year. See specific units for contact numbers.

CID Staffing consists of one deputy chief, one captain, three lieutenants, twelve sergeants, sixty seven officers, and three civilian employees.
