The Information Technology Unit also consists of the Crime Analysis Unit of the Evansville Police Department, which provides crime maps, graphs and crime database reports that can be utilized by the Command Staff, Sector and Division Commanders, Crime Prevention Officers and Beat Officers to better perform their functions. 

The unit also provides analysis on an as-needed basis for members of the department to assist with special projects or problem solving.  The Crime Analysis Unit is manned by  Cpl. Don Stock and Crime Analyst Curt Todd.  Sgt. Craig Jordan is the immediate supervisor.
