Crime Analysis / Map

The Crime Analysis Unit of the Evansville Police Department provides crime maps, graphs and crime database reports that can be utilized by the Command Staff, Sector and Division Commanders, Crime Prevention Officers and Beat Officers to better perform their functions.  The Crime Analysis Unit incorporates and analyzes case reports, field contact reports, pawn databases, and information from other units and outside agencies. 

The unit also provides analysis of crime patterns or trends on an as-needed basis for members of the department to assist with special projects or problem solving.
