The Information Technology Unit is located at Police Headquarters, Room 14C.

The Information Technology Unit is staffed by one sergeant, one officer, and one civilian employee. The IT Unit administers EPD software and maintains radio equipment. It also cooperates with City Computer Services Contractor and Vanderburgh County Sheriff Office Data Operations personnel to foster smooth running of the department’s installed base of computers and software. The unit also conducts computer operation and software training for department members.
