Vehicle title checks are done ONLY on Wednesdays between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.  If a vehicle title check is needed on any day other than Wednesday, it must be taken to the License Branch, they do not charge for checks.  The cost of the vehicle title checks are $5.00, payable to the "City of Evansville" by check or money order.    

NO CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED!  

If a check is needed for a salvage vehicle, contact the Indiana State Police, The Evansville Police Department cannot do vehicle checks.
